Vacation to Iceland - October 2014

Becky and I decided on Iceland for our first international trip together. It was also Becky’s first ever international trip. She was thrilled to get that first stamp in her passport. We spent a week in Iceland traveling on our own terms and schedule. We rented a small apartment in downtown Reykjavik as our home base for day trips around the South West of the country. To our relief mid-October turned out to be an excellent time to visit. Fewer number of tourists, fair yet cool weather and still plenty of daylight to enjoy the countryside.
